About Us
Pro-Form Physio & Fitness is an established private MSK physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic based in Bexleyheath, Kent.
We combine high quality hands-on physiotherapy with progressive exercise rehabilitation and are looking for an experienced self-employed MSK Physiotherapist to join our team on a long-term basis.
The role will initially be 2 regular weekdays per week including evenings, with the opportunity to increase to 3 days as the caseload grows. Some evening availability will be required.
This is not intended as short-term or ad-hoc cover. We are looking for someone who wants to become an established part of the clinic, build a regular caseload and work with us longer term.
The Role
You will independently manage a varied caseload of self-funding and insured MSK patients, with full reception and administrative support. A strong hands-on approach is essential.
The successful clinician must be confident using a variety of hands-on/manual therapy techniques and incorporating these into patient treatment alongside progressive exercise rehabilitation where clinically appropriate.
You should be confident with:
- Comprehensive MSK assessment and clinical reasoning
- A varied range of hands-on/manual therapy techniques
- Soft tissue and joint-based treatment techniques
- Exercise prescription and progressive rehabilitation
- Developing clear and appropriate treatment plans
- Patient education and communication
- Independently managing a private MSK caseload
Essential Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered
- Strong UK MSK experience
- Minimum 1 year UK MSK experience, ideally 2–3+ years
- Confident independently assessing and managing a varied MSK caseload
- Strong and varied hands-on/manual therapy skills
- Comfortable regularly incorporating hands-on treatment where clinically appropriate
- Strong exercise rehabilitation skills
- Excellent clinical reasoning and communication
- Professional, reliable and patient-focused
- Looking for a stable, long-term position
- Able to commute reliably to our Bexleyheath clinic
Additional Skills
Additional qualifications or experience in the following would be highly advantageous:
- Acupuncture / dry needling
- Sports massage
- Pilates
- Women's Health
- Shockwave therapy

Please consider your commute carefully before applying.
Our clinic is situated between Bexleyheath and Abbey Wood stations. Both are approximately 5–10 minutes by car/taxi or around a 30 minute walk from the clinic. Direct public transport is more limited, with one main bus service serving the immediate area.
For this reason, the position is particularly suited to someone who lives locally, drives, or has a reliable commute of ideally no more than approximately 45 minutes.
As we are looking for someone to work with us long term, having a realistic and sustainable commute is particularly important.
Pay
£28–£35 per hour, self-employed, depending on experience, UK private practice background, clinical skill set and additional qualifications.
The higher end of the range is intended for clinicians bringing substantial private MSK experience, a strong and varied hands-on skill set and/or additional relevant clinical qualifications.
Start date: September 2026 preferred, although flexible for the right candidate.
