IFGlobal is a fast-growing technology-enabled business providing fulfilment services to eCommerce companies. Our clients include many dynamic and rapidly expanding start-up businesses. Alongside our fulfilment services, we also offer marketplace support, such as managing and monitoring Amazon and eBay accounts on behalf of our clients.
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. Ideally, the successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, although we can offer flexibility for the right person. This role provides administrative support across a broad range of accounting functions and presents an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within the eCommerce sector while further developing your accounting knowledge and skills.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Sales ledger support for a growing portfolio of clients ensuring monthly invoices are accurate, complete and issued in a timely manner
- Purchase ledger support ensuring supplier invoices are accurate and processed in a timely manner
- Assisting the account managers with client queries in respect of customer invoicing
- Supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Manager with other day to day tasks and ad hoc projects as required
The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
- Tech savvy with a keen interest in eCommerce and an eye for detail
- Minimum 1 years’ experience working within a commercial business in an accounting or administration function
- Proficient using MS Office with intermediate/advanced Excel skills
- Strong Maths and English GCSE results (grade C/4 or better)
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping, preferably AAT Level 1 or 2 qualified
- Methodical, self-disciplined and have the ability to prioritise own workload
- A proactive, can-do attitude
- Confident communicating with people at all levels
Desirable but not essential, previous experience of:
- Xero;
- AAT Level 4 qualified; and/or
- Dealing with freight/courier providers.
