Join Our Team – HGV Driver / Jet Vac Operator
We're looking for a reliable and motivated HGV Driver / Jet Vac Operator to join our growing team. This is a varied, hands-on role operating specialist jet vac equipment on drainage, industrial, and environmental projects.
The Role
As a Jet Vac Operator, you'll be responsible for:
- Driving and operating a Jet Vac (combination vacuum tanker) safely and efficiently.
- Carrying out high-pressure water jetting and vacuum excavation.
- Cleaning drains, culverts, interceptors, tanks, and chambers.
- Assisting with emergency call-outs and planned maintenance works.
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring equipment is maintained.
- Working safely in accordance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
- Providing excellent customer service on site.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (Class 1 advantageous).
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good understanding of health and safety.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime and participate in an on-call rota (if required).
Desirable (Training can be provided):
- Previous Jet Vac or tanker experience.
- High-pressure water jetting qualifications.
- Confined Space Entry.
- Street Works (NRSWA).
- CSCS card.
