We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Bristol Aquarium, Bristol.

Job Description
The role is to prepare food to the highest standard, comply with all hygiene rules and regulations, assist in the running of the catering outlet in an efficient manner, and offer excellent customer service.
Duties/ Responsibilities
- To be approachable, knowledgeable and engaging when dealing with customers
- To assist in opening and closing the cafe in accordance with procedures
- To prepare food, following all health and safety and hygiene procedures
- Ensure all saleable products are on display, correctly priced and that stock levels are maintained as appropriate
- To order café stock ahead of busy trading periods
- To maximize the sales and spend opportunities by up-selling and suggestive selling
- To carry out stocktaking procedures every month
- To maintain a safe and clean kitchen, servery and seating area at all times

Requirements
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Capable of working efficiently under pressure
- A can do attitude working with pace and vigour
- Availability to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a continuously growing experience
