Breakfast Club
- Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 8:30am
After School Wraparound Care
- Monday to Thursday: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
- Friday: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
About the Role
Nxt Level Coaching are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team supporting children before and after school at George Grenville Academy.
This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a career working with children while completing an Early Years apprenticeship qualification.
You will help create a fun, safe and welcoming environment where children can start and finish their school day positively. The role involves supporting children through play, creative activities and outdoor games, helping to build confidence, friendships and independence.
The working hours are well suited to an apprenticeship, allowing time during the school day to complete coursework and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Support children in a safe, fun and engaging environment before and after school
- Lead simple activities such as crafts, games, sports and creative play
- Support early development through play-based activities
- Prepare and serve light snacks
- Set up and tidy activity areas
- Complete daily registers and support the safe collection of children
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and school staff
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and company procedures
- Work as part of a team to create a positive environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, reliable and enjoys working with children
- Confident engaging children through play and activities
- Professional, organised and approachable
- A strong communicator and team player
- Motivated to complete an Early Years apprenticeship qualification
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience working with children
- Childcare or Early Years qualification
- Paediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene or Safeguarding training
Full training will be provided where required.
