The Westbourne Cafe – The Square, Westbourne
We’re looking for a reliable and practical Cook to join our friendly team at The Westbourne Cafe.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing good-quality food in a small cafe environment and takes pride in keeping a clean, well-run kitchen.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and cooking cafe-style food to a consistent standard
- Supporting daily prep and service
- Keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and organised
- Following food safety and hygiene standards
- Working closely with the front-of-house team
- Maintaining Health and Safety records in the kitchen.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience cooking in a cafe, kitchen, or similar setting
- Is reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
- Understands food hygiene and safe working practices
- Takes ownership of their role and can work without needing constant direction
- Works well independently while also supporting the wider team.
- Brings a positive, can-do attitude and helps create a supportive working environment
