Seasonal Golf Starter & Clubhouse Assistant
Swinley Forest Golf Club is one of England's premier private members' golf clubs.
We are looking for a professional, reliable and personable Seasonal Golf Starter & Clubhouse Assistant to join our team. This varied role combines welcoming golf societies on the first tee with supporting the day-to-day presentation and operation of the clubhouse.

Your primary responsibility will be ensuring golf societies receive a warm, professional welcome and begin their day smoothly.
Golf Starter Duties
- Welcome members and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Start golf societies from the 1st tee at their allocated tee times.
- Explain local rules, course etiquette and any daily notices.
- Ensure groups tee off promptly to maintain the day's schedule.
- Answer questions and provide excellent customer service.
Clubhouse Assistant Duties
Once the morning tee times have departed, you'll assist the clubhouse team by:
- Maintaining the presentation of the clubhouse entrance, courtyard and surrounding areas.
- Carrying out light maintenance and general housekeeping duties.
- Checking and maintaining the locker rooms, ensuring they remain clean, tidy and fully stocked.
- Assisting with general operational tasks as required.
- Helping maintain the exceptional presentation standards expected at one of England's leading private members' golf clubs.

- Is happy working independently.
- Enjoys practical, hands-on tasks.
- Has an interest in golf or previous experience within a golf club or hospitality environment (desirable but not essential).
