Overview
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Laundry and Domestic Assistants to join our bank of casual staff. This role offers flexible scheduling to support our housekeeping and laundry services across various hospitality settings. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation. Previous laundry and/or domestic experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is perfect for individuals seeking part-time or supplementary work within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and wash laundry items in accordance with established procedures
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all items are cleaned to required standards
- Iron, fold, and prepare laundry for delivery or storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of laundry areas and storage spaces
- Assist with general domestic duties such as cleaning residents rooms, corridors, and communal areas.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Support the team in meeting operational deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
