Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Supervisor for Pub & Restaurant to lead our dynamic hospitality team in our 17th Century Inn. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable experiences while upholding the restaurant’s reputation for excellence. Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant and pub operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery, to ensure our customers get the best experience and gain repeat customers
- Lead and motivate staff, fostering a positive team environment, ensuring all departments work collaboratively together and staff work together as a team
- Ensure all staff adhere to our HR and H&S polices and procedures that conform to safe working and best practice.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
- Monitor inventory levels of bar stock and raise orders and minimize waste
- Train new team members on service standards, food safety practices, and operational procedures, ensuring all our team are trained to the same high standards
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant, or hospitality setting with strong team management skills and familiarity with culinary processes.
- Proven supervising bar experience with strong team management
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
- Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence
- Due to location you will need to have access to transport
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Approximately 30 hours per week.
