Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time experienced and dynamic Showroom Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Wood burning stove & fireplace showroom.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring sales targets are exceeded, excellent customer service is given from start to finish, maintaining an organised and appealing showroom environment, as well as keeping track and pursuing new sales and interior trends.
An ability to procure new clientele by way of social media and other advertising is essential.
This role requires the ability to work alone as well as a team, management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff and key suppliers. The Showroom Manager will play a key role in driving and obtaining new sales, enhancing customer experience, and representing our brand professionally.
Please note - Industry experience is not essential, but would be advantageous. In house training will be given to the successful candidate.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the showroom, ensuring high standards of customer service and professionalism.
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock organisation, and visual merchandising.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed targets whilst maintaining excellent client relationships.
- Manage client installation dates and correlate with stock delivery dates.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual displays to optimise the showroom’s appearance.
- Handle customer enquiries efficiently via phone, email, or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Work with our ever-growing social media pages and audience.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations within the showroom.
Skills
- Proven management experience within retail or showroom environments.
- Be passionate and have a strong work ethic.
- Being able to generate new clientele and sales using advertising strategies and social media platforms.
- Excellent retail skills with the ability to upsell where possible.
- Be able to work efficiently and manage a small group of installation teams.
- Attention to detail in merchandising and administrative tasks.
- Demonstrated sales management expertise with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
- Proficient in time management to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in visual merchandising and product presentation strategies.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Superb phone etiquette combined with professional interpersonal skills for client engagement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£39,000.00 per year
