Job Title: Commercial Gas Supervisor
Location: London
Permanent Role: £40,000 – £55,000+ per year + Company Van, Fuel Card, Annual Leave & Excellent Benefits
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Supervisor to lead and support a team of gas engineers across commercial heating, plant, and gas systems. This is a field-based supervisory role requiring strong technical knowledge, excellent people management skills, and a proven track record of maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and quality.

Typical Areas of Responsibility
You'll be supporting engineers carrying out a range of works including:
- Commercial gas servicing and planned maintenance.
- Commercial boiler and plant room breakdowns, fault finding, and repairs.
- Commercial gas installations, upgrades, and heating system replacements.
- Technical support, quality inspections, compliance auditing, and engineer mentoring.
We have opportunities across a range of sectors including commercial buildings, education, healthcare, industrial facilities, public sector contracts, and mixed commercial portfolios.
What You'll Need
- A strong background as a Commercial Gas Engineer with experience supervising engineers or carrying out technical quality inspections.
- Previous experience managing engineers in the field, providing technical guidance, conducting site visits, and ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial gas, heating, and mechanical systems, along with current gas qualifications.
- Experience overseeing servicing, maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, and installation projects within commercial environments.
- A thorough understanding of gas safety legislation, compliance, and industry best practice.
- Strong communication, leadership, and customer relationship skills with a professional approach.
