Overview
We are seeking a motivated and work concious Window, Door and conservatory Installer or 2-man team to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing windows, doors and conservatory's across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will ensure that each installation meets safety standards, quality expectations, and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to creating comfortable, secure, and aesthetically pleasing spaces. Van and fuel supplied.
Responsibilities
- Measure window and door openings accurately to ensure proper fitment before installation
- Remove old windows and doors carefully, minimizing damage to surrounding structures
- Install new windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques with precision
- Ensure all installations comply with safety protocols, building codes, and schematics
- Conduct inspections post-installation to verify proper operation and aesthetic quality
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the industry.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading.
- Knowledge of roofing and leadwork, plastering, general construction
- Ability to work at heights safely using scaffolding or ladders when necessary
- Strong understanding of safety standards and building codes applicable to window and door installation
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
Pay: £900.00-£1,100.00 per week
