- Assist the Manager in leading a team of bar staff
- Ensure that front-of-house is fully staffed, particularly during peak times
- Meet sales and profitability targets
- Create a welcoming environment for customers
- Ensure consistent, high quality beverages are served to customers
- Deal with customer feedback and provide adequate solutions to customer complaints
- Create a positive work environment for staff
- Monitor beverages to ensure adequate stock
- Oversee the cleanliness of the physical bar area, paying attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations
