Job description:
Location: Based from home but covering an hour radius from your home address- you will be based in a TW postcode area
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday- Friday
Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 depending on experience

My client is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their growing team, covering the South West London area You’ll be responsible for servicing and repairing electro-mechanical equipment, using your ability to read diagrams and your methodical, hands-on approach to deliver high-quality results. Home-based, you’ll work independently while building strong relationships with local customers, providing expert technical support, advice, and guidance to keep equipment performing at its best.

What our client offers:
· Manage service requests efficiently to minimise equipment downtime and deliver a prompt, professional service
· Maintain, service, and repair electro-mechanical equipment to a high standard, in line with company guidelines
· Communicate with customers before and after each visit to ensure issues are resolved
· Complete service paperwork using provided technology and obtain customer sign-off
· Build strong relationships with customers to deliver excellent service
· Manage van stock, ensuring parts are stored correctly and returned when required
· Report and escalate any quality issues to the relevant teams
· Work closely with support, operations, and sales teams to maintain clear communication
· Follow all health and safety policies at all times
· Identify and pass on sales opportunities while delivering great customer service
What we are looking for:
· Experience in the repair and servicing of electro-mechanical equipment.
· Ability to read diagrams and schematics
· Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
· Organised and methodical
· Solution focused with a good attention to detail
· A good standard of PC literacy
· Full UK driving license
· Experience of networked products
