Join TipperLink from Day One
We're building TipperLink, an AI-powered platform transforming how the construction, aggregates and waste industries manage haulage.
Our mission is simple: replace endless phone calls, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups with intelligent software that connects suppliers with trusted hauliers faster and more efficiently.
This is a unique opportunity to join at the very beginning of our journey and play a key role in helping shape the future of the business.
About the Role
This isn't a traditional customer service role.
You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, ensuring every supplier and haulier has an outstanding experience using TipperLink.
You'll also help grow the platform by speaking with customers, encouraging new businesses to join and making sure every load posted receives maximum exposure.
As an early member of the team, you'll work directly alongside the founder every day, helping to shape the way we operate as the business grows.
What You'll Be Doing
- Welcome new suppliers and hauliers to TipperLink.
- Guide customers through their first experience using the platform.
- Contact hauliers to help ensure supplier loads are covered.
- Build relationships with customers over the phone and by email.
- Follow up with new enquiries and convert them into active users.
- Proactively contact businesses to introduce TipperLink and generate new opportunities.
- Support suppliers throughout the booking process.
- Gather customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve the platform.
- Keep customer records up to date.
- Work closely with the founder to improve processes as the business grows.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Friendly, confident and enjoys speaking with people.
- Highly organised and proactive.
- Comfortable making outbound phone calls.
- Self-motivated and able to think independently.
- Excited by the idea of joining a startup from day one.
- Willing to roll their sleeves up and help wherever needed.
- Proud of doing things properly and always putting customers first.
Experience in construction, aggregates, haulage or logistics is beneficial but not essential—we're far more interested in attitude, work ethic, reliability and a willingness to learn.
What We Offer
- A flexible 20–25 hour working week, with opportunities to increase hours as the business grows.
- The chance to help build a business from the very beginning.
- Direct mentorship from the founder and genuine involvement in key business decisions.
- A modern office environment in Exeter where you'll work closely with the founder every day.
- A role where your ideas will be listened to and where you can genuinely influence how the business develops.
- Real opportunities for progression as TipperLink expands.
Our Culture
We're looking for someone who wants to build something—not simply clock in and out.
We value initiative, honesty, hard work and great customer service. If you enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and helping customers succeed, you'll fit in well here.
As TipperLink grows, we want our team to grow with it. People who consistently work hard, contribute ideas and help drive the business forward will be recognised and rewarded with increased responsibility, career progression and salary reviews.
Why Join TipperLink?
This isn't just another office job.
You'll be joining a business at the very beginning, working directly alongside the founder and helping build something from the ground up.
Every customer you help, every load you help cover and every improvement you suggest will have a real impact on the success of the company.
If you're ambitious, enjoy working with people and want to be part of an exciting new venture from day one, we'd love to hear from you.
