Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Shuttering Carpenter with a strong background in basement and reinforced concrete construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and dismantle formwork for basement walls, columns, beams, slabs, lift pits, and foundations.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure formwork is accurately aligned, level, and securely braced.
- Work closely with site engineers, steel fixers, and concrete teams.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Shuttering Carpenter.
- Proven experience on basement, substructure, and retaining wall projects.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction and site safety practices.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Pay: £18.00-£21.00 per hour
