Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Workroom Machinist to join our Workroom team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various sewing machines, good hand sewing and produce finished goods to a very high standard. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong sewing background and experience in fabric, making of Curtains, romans and soft furnishings. The successful applicant will contribute to the realisation of made to measure bespoke finished goods for interior designers and private clients to high standard.
Duties
- Operate sewing machining equipment
- hand sew and finish soft finishing to high standard
- help the team complete tasks to a deadline
- Apply basic mathematical skills for measurements, tolerances, and calculations related to cutting and processing fabrics.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on projects
- Proven experience in a workroom
- Must live with easy reach of workroom approximately 30 minutes

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
