We are looking for a caring, reliable, and hardworking Domestic Cleaner to join our dedicated team at Mayfield Residential Home. SUBJECT TO A SATISFACTORY DBS CHECK AND REFERENCES.
Our housekeeping team plays a vital role in ensuring our residents live in a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working as part of a supportive team, and have a keen eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities
- Cleaning residents' bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard.
- Following cleaning schedules and infection prevention procedures.
- Ensuring all areas remain tidy, hygienic, and welcoming.
- Safely using cleaning equipment and chemicals in line with COSHH guidance.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to management.
- Working respectfully around residents, their families, and visitors.
- Supporting the home's commitment to providing outstanding care by maintaining a pleasant environment.
What We're Looking For
- A positive and reliable attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- A caring and compassionate approach when working around elderly residents.
