PLEASE NOTE - PREVIOUS POWDER COATING EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying powder coating finishes to metal components, ensuring a smooth, durable, and high-quality surface. Your efforts will contribute directly to the production of top-tier products that meet our strict quality standards.
Duties
- Prepare metal components by cleaning, masking, and inspecting surfaces to ensure proper coating adhesion
- Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and procedures
- Apply powder coatings evenly using spray guns or automated systems to achieve consistent coverage
- Inspect finished products for quality, including checking for defects, uniformity, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, troubleshooting issues, and reporting malfunctions promptly
- Follow production schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Document coating processes and quality checks accurately in production logs
Skills
- Proven experience with powder coating application in a manufacturing environment for this role is essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Ability to operate spray guns, curing ovens, and related equipment safely and effectively
- Good understanding of surface preparation techniques for metal components
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to powder coating operations
