We are looking for experienced Bathroom Installers / Multi-Skilled Bathroom Fitters to join our team delivering planned bathroom replacement works within social housing properties.
The work will primarily involve like-for-like bathroom replacements, with existing bathrooms removed and new installations fitted within the same footprint.
The Role
You will be responsible for completing bathroom installations from rip-out through to completion, including:
- Full rip-out of existing bathroom suites
- Installation of new baths, showers, WCs, basins and associated sanitaryware
- Installation and alteration of associated hot, cold and waste pipework
- Copper pipework and soldered joints – push-fit systems are not acceptable
- Like-for-like installation within the existing bathroom footprint
- Installation of Polysafe or equivalent safety flooring
- Wall tiling and/or installation of Aquaboard/wall panelling
- Minor making good and associated finishing works
- Sealing and finishing installations to a high standard
- Testing installations and ensuring works are complete before handover
- Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment throughout the works
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience completing full bathroom installations
- Is competent in plumbing and associated bathroom installation works
- Is confident soldering copper pipework
- Can complete tiling, wall boarding/panelling and safety flooring to a good standard
- Takes pride in producing a high-quality finished product
- Can work efficiently within planned programme timescales
- Is comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for an installation from start to finish
- Has good communication skills and a professional approach
- Understands the importance of cleanliness, respect and customer care when working in residents' homes
- Is reliable, organised and able to work as part of a wider delivery team
Previous experience working within social housing or occupied properties would be highly advantageous.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Relevant trade experience and/or qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Use of own Van/vehicle
- Own tools appropriate to the role
- Good knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Ability to demonstrate previous bathroom installation experience
