Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plasterer/Renderer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying plaster and render to interior and exterior surfaces, transforming building facades and interiors with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help create smooth, durable finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity of various projects. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces to ensure optimal adhesion of plaster or render.
- Mix plaster or render materials accurately according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
- Apply plaster or render using hand tools such as trowels, hawks, and floats, ensuring smooth, even finishes on walls, ceilings, and external facades.
- Use power tools for mixing, cutting, or shaping materials as needed to meet project requirements.
- Incorporate additional techniques such as bricklaying or masonry work when required for complex structures or repairs.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations while operating equipment.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools essential for plastering and rendering tasks.
- Ability to operate power tools for mixing plasters and renders safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes in both interior and exterior settings.
- Experience working with lime mortars & plasters on heritage buildings, would be advantageous.
