As a Project Coordinator you are key in supporting the successful delivery of our Implementation projects for a number of different clients. You will have responsibility for administration tasks supporting the Technical Project Manager and other Project Managers to ensure our projects are delivered on time and to budget.
Responsibilities
- Create installation instructions and purchase orders.
- Arrange collections and transport of products and furniture to/from site.
- Book access to sites for surveys and installations.
- Ensure that installations are closed out on time.
- Identify and communicate the different site H&S requirements and qualifications needed for our subcontractors.
- Set up enquiries & projects on SAP.
- Raise sales invoices.
- Keep an overview on costs & highlight any risks affecting margins.
- Prepare Progress to Plan reports.
- Provide polite telephone support service.
- Liaising with subcontractors on pricing, delivery times/schedules and quality.
- Accurate data input on all our platforms.
- Obtaining advertising consent and permits from Local Authorities
- Liaise with internal and external customers including subcontractors.
- Always maintain a high level of customer care.
Skills
- Some experience of supporting Project Managers or being involved in the project management lifecycle is essential.
- An understanding of the supply chain within furniture (and) or signage manufacture and supply would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational and administration skills including the ability to multitask to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Strong written communication and literacy skills.
- Confident speaking with external stakeholders; customer, suppliers & installers.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and use of spreadsheets
- Experience in using SAP (desirable, not essential) or similar ERP systems
