Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Carwash Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating our Gleam Machine Carwash, providing an efficient and high-quality car washing service while ensuring customer satisfaction. Operators will also be responsible for maintaining the jet wash bays and vaccum areas.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in customer service, driving, and maintaining a clean environment. The Gleam Machine can wash up to 100 cars per hour so this position is suitable for those who are organised, reliable, and able to work quickly in busy times.
Duties
- Operate car washing equipment safely and efficiently to deliver thorough cleaning services
- Maintain cleanliness of the carwash facility and premises, such as sweeping, cleaning surfaces, and waste disposal
- Assist customers with questions regarding the car wash process and services offered
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operation of the Gleam Machine conveyor and when using all other equipment
- Perform routine checks on machinery to ensure optimal functioning and report any faults or issues promptly
- Support team members in maintaining a smooth workflow during busy periods
Requirements
GCSE Maths and English are required
Qualities:
- · Ability to follow detailed operating and quality procedures.
- · Training will be provided, although previous carwash experience would be advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Organised with good attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and service quality
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and working outdoors

Pay: £11.30-£13.30 per hour
