Overview

Duties
- Remove and replace tyres using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
- Conduct tyre inspections to identify damage, wear, or punctures, and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Perform wheel balancing and alignment checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Use heavy lifting techniques to handle tyres and wheels safely during installation or removal
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining tyre options, maintenance needs, and safety tips clearly
- Assist with routine vehicle maintenance tasks as needed to support overall workshop operations
Experience
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, particularly tyres and wheels
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
- Experience operating power tools used in tyre fitting and wheel alignment processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during tyre installation or removal
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Prior experience in automotive or workshop environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
