Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Gas Service and Repair Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing gas appliances and systems within domestic properties. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety standards. The engineer will work independently or as part of a team to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of domestic gas appliances and systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work complies with current safety regulations and standards
- Test systems post repair to confirm proper operation
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Assist with some reactive plumbing or other related tasks as required.
- Perform heavy lifting when handling equipment or materials safely
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during service visits
Skills
- Proven experience in gas servicing and repair within a domestic setting
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, mechanical systems, and electrical components related to gas appliances
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repair
- Valid driving licence
- Mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving abilities to diagnose issues effectively
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple appointments efficiently

Pay: £25,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
