Vehicle Technician Required in Wellington, Somerset
Our client, a reputable family-run independent garage in Wellington, Somerset, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services to a diverse range of customers. Your expertise will ensure vehicle safety, performance, and reliability are maintained to the highest standards. This role offers a Monday to Friday working week with optional Saturday shifts, providing a flexible and balanced work environment.

Duties:
- Conduct diagnostic tests and fault analysis using the latest equipment
- Perform routine maintenance, including servicing, brakes, suspension, and engine repairs
- Complete repair and maintenance work to high standards within allocated timeframes
- Use diagnostic software and computer systems effectively
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Deliver exceptional customer service whilst building strong client relationships
- Maintain accurate vehicle records and communicate findings clearly to customers
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a similar role
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and operations
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- A full UK driving licence preferred
