Tureddi Yachts is seeking an Accountant to lead and manage the company’s financial and accounting operations in the United Kingdom. Based in London, the role will oversee accounting processes, statutory compliance, and financial reporting while coordinating closely with the Italian operating company and the wider international group.
This position requires a senior accounting professional capable of managing UK financial operations while consolidating and interpreting financial information received from the Italian subsidiary and other global entities within the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations for the UK entity, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Manage and reconcile financial data received from the Italian operating company and other international group entities.
- Coordinate financial reporting and information flows between the UK headquarters, the Italian subsidiary, and the global group structure.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors in the UK.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain strong financial controls.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Provide financial insights and reporting to senior management.
Candidate Profile
- Significant experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within an international or multi-entity corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing cross-border financial reporting and group accounting coordination.
- Ability to analyze and integrate financial information from multiple international entities.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred.
- Fluent English required.
- Good working knowledge of Italian is required to manage reporting and coordination with the Italian operating company.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational capabilities.
