About the role
At Fortus, we’re looking for a Client Experience Assistant to be the welcoming face of our office, helping to shape every client’s experience while also providing assistance with essential operational support, when needed.
You’ll deliver a consistently high standard of customer care to all visitors, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and well looked after from the moment they arrive. Alongside this, you’ll assist with day-to-day operational tasks to help keep the office running smoothly and efficiently.
Your proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask will ensure both clients receive a seamless, first-class experience.
Key Responsibilities
· Greet and manage all clients and visitors with first class service
· Meeting Room Coordination
· Operational Support
· Answer and manage incoming calls and emails efficiently and courteously
· Schedule and manage external meeting room bookings including coordinating refreshments where required
Skills & Experience
Essential
· Experience of working in a professional front of house environment
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
· Ability to multitask and support day-to-day operational and administrative tasks in a busy environment
Desirable
· Proactive, positive attitude with the ability to take initiative
· Experience supporting office operations or general administrative duties
· Familiarity with professional or corporate environments and delivering high standards of service
Personal Attributes
· Friendly and professional demeanour with a proactive attitude
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Working Arrangements
· Location: The role will be based in our York office
· This is a full time (37.5 hrs per week) permanent role between 9am and 5pm
