Overview
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated Dental Nurse to join our friendly team at Briggate Dental in Leeds City Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and is looking for a role where they can develop their skills and take on additional responsibilities.
The main focus of the role will be dental nursing and chairside assisting, working closely with our dentists and supporting the smooth running of the practice. The role will also include approximately 1–2 days per week supporting our reception team, together with some involvement in practice compliance and administrative activities.
Knowledge or experience of social media and digital content would be an added advantage, particularly for someone who enjoys contributing ideas and helping to promote the practice.
What you’ll be doing
● Providing excellent chairside assistance to our dentists
● Preparing surgeries and ensuring appropriate infection control and cross-infection procedures are followed
● Supporting patients throughout their dental journey and providing a warm, professional experience
● Assisting with the day-to-day running of the practice
● Providing reception and front-of-house support when required
● Helping with practice compliance, documentation and administrative tasks
● Working collaboratively with the wider dental team
● Supporting practice development and maintaining our high standards of patient care
● Contributing to our social media and online presence where appropriate
An exciting opportunity to develop further
There may also be opportunities to work occasionally at our sister practice Dental Icon in Hipperholme, an award-winning specialist dental practice with a particular focus on dental implants and cosmetic dentistry.
This could provide an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to specialist treatments, different aspects of dentistry and a highly experienced clinical environment.
Who we’re looking for

● A qualified Dental Nurse with the relevant registration
● Passionate about dentistry and genuinely cares about patient experience
● Friendly, approachable and confident when communicating with patients and colleagues
● Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
● Proactive and willing to take responsibility
● Comfortable working across both clinical and reception environments
● Keen to learn and develop professionally
● Interested in contributing to the wider development of the practice
Social media, digital marketing or content-creation experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
