Service Engineer – Refrigeration, Catering Equipment, or Espresso Machines
We are seeking a motivated Service Engineer to join our established business. The ideal candidate will have experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Refrigeration repairs and maintenance
- Electrical catering equipment servicing
- Espresso machine installation, repair, and maintenance
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is keen to broaden their technical expertise. We provide comprehensive on-site training and support to help develop skills across additional equipment types and technologies.
Duties
- Installation and setup of commercial espresso machines and grinders at customer sites
- Routine maintenance and servicing both on-site and within a 2-hour radius of the company office and workshop.
- Coordinating service calls and installations with subcontractor partners across the UK
- Diagnosing and repairing espresso machines and grinders & milk coolers
- Providing technical support to customers via phone and email
- Maintaining accurate service records and reports
- Delivering excellent customer service and technical advice
Experience
- This role would be ideal for a refrigeration engineer seeking to broaden their expertise and develop their knowledge of coffee equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Experience working with espresso machines is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to refrigeration and beverage engineering roles.

Working Hours
This role does not require weekend or evening work.
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm
The position is primarily based at our offices in Colne, BB8, although we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
