Position: After-School Gymnastics Coach
Location: Primary School
Hours: Part-time, after school hours (typically 3:15pm–4:30pm)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on qualifications and experience
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Gymnastics Coach to lead our after-school gymnastics club for primary school children. The successful candidate will plan and deliver fun, engaging, and safe gymnastics sessions that help pupils develop confidence, coordination, and physical skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality gymnastics sessions for primary-aged children.
- Ensure all activities are safe, inclusive, and age-appropriate.
- Set up and store equipment safely.
- Encourage participation and positive behaviour.
- Follow all school safeguarding and health and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and parents when required.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised gymnastics coaching qualification.
- Experience working with children of primary school age.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Desirable Requirements
- Current first aid qualification.
- Previous experience running after-school clubs.
