Job Title: Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant

About Us: Join our dedicated team at a reputable primary school in Derby, where we are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for all our students. We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant who has a level 2/3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
- Work closely with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Support students' social and emotional development, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Understanding of SEN and a passion for supporting students with additional needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in special education (desirable but not essential).
