Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile and reliable General Handyperson to undertake a variety of maintenance, repair, and fabrication tasks across our premises. The ideal candidate will possess a broad skill set ideally some carpentry and construction and painting experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with some practical experience to contribute to the upkeep and improvement of our property. The position is paid and suitable for those who enjoy hands-on work and problem-solving in a dynamic mainly outdoor environment. Would suit a pro-active hardworking school leaver.
Duties
- Carry out general carpentry tasks including repairs, installations, and modifications
- Conduct painting projects to maintain building aesthetics
- Execute masonry work including some bricklaying, patching, and surface repairs
- Some general garden landscaping and maintenance.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Qualifications
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to perform fabrication tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt to diverse maintenance challenges
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and manage own time
- Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks across different environments
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades are advantageous but not essential
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to safety standards at all times
- Able to work alone unsupervised and as part of a team as required.

Pay: £13.14-£18.00 per hour
