Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, corridors, and communal spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized, dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and disinfected according to health and safety standards
- Restock cleaning supplies and amenities such as soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet rolls to maintain continuous availability
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to guarantee all tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards immediately to ensure a safe environment for everyone
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by adhering to health regulations and company policies at all times
- Assist with waste disposal procedures, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and recycling protocols are followed
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards
- Ability to operate various cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality cleanliness standards
- Strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks efficiently within tight schedules
- Good communication skills for reporting issues clearly and working collaboratively with team members
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and performing repetitive tasks comfortably
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is highly desirable
