Kitchen Assistant
Banbridge
£12.71 per hour
SHIFTS: Every Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm, STARTING 31ST AUGUST
Gentech are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Banbridge who are expanding on their team of Kitchen Assistants
Duties
- Assist bakers with preparing ingredients (weighing, measuring, mixing)
- Help with basic food prep such as slicing, filling, and decorating simple items
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Wash dishes, trays, and baking tools
- Organize and restock ingredients and supplies
- Help receive and store deliveries properly (following FIFO where required)
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Requirements
- No formal qualifications required (training provided), but food hygiene knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail
- Basic understanding of kitchen safety and cleanliness
