Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending techniques. You will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Assist in managing inventory by monitoring stock levels and relaying to management.
- Collaborate with front of house & kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when requested.
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits from customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant industry is preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- A commitment to providing outstanding hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Understanding of food safety practices relevant to beverage service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
