Specialising in street food including stone baked pizzas, hog roast, BBQ, loaded fries, burgers, hot dogs, grazing tables, ice-cream and desert platters the work is varied, fun, and sociable.

Job Role: Food & Beverage assistant
Job Location: The Beverley Barn & various venues and locations across East Yorkshire
Hours: Casual
Hourly Rate: Age-related National Minimum Wage
Reporting to: The Cart Shed Manager

Job Description
You will be expected to greet clients, serve food and drinks to the tables, make suggestions, recommendations or upsell to clients and guests and answer any questions. You will also be expected to help load and unload any equipment, set up tables with table linen, polish cutlery, crockery, condiments and restocking any items required. Communicating with the kitchen team is a vital part of this role and you are expected to be flexible to support other areas of on-the-day work ensuring a successful delivery of the event.
Essential skills required include:
Being a Team player with a capital ‘T’!
Being able to communicate professionally and openly with clients and guests
Having an understanding of personal and food hygiene
Having an understanding of allergy awareness
Being able to use your own initiative
Being able to work long hours, evenings and weekends, predominately on your feet as the work is physical, practical and hands on.
This role is Casual hours and there are no set shift patterns. The work involves day, evening, and weekend shifts. A uniform and apron will be provided by The Cart Shed and other uniform guidance including hair to be tied back and minimal jewellery will be expected to be abided by.
Experience is advantageous however not necessary as all training is provided. We do ask that you have a willingness to participate in training days and courses. Please note all candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK and possess a strong level of written and spoken English and have a drivers license.
