About the role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to support our kitchen installation team.
The main responsibility of the role will be the removal and disposal of existing kitchens before new kitchen installations begin. You will also assist with general site preparation, moving materials and keeping customers properties clean, tidy and safe throughout the work.
As the role involves working in customers homes, we are looking for someone who is professional, respectful and takes pride in leaving every property clean and ready for the next stage of the project.
Key responsibilities
- Carefully remove existing kitchen units, worktops and appliances
- Load removed kitchens and on some occasions, dispose of waste
- Protect floors and surrounding areas
- Support kitchen fitters and other tradespeople with general labouring duties
What we're looking for
- Reliable, punctual and hard working
- Able to work independently as well as alongside kitchen fitters and other trades
- Professional and respectful when working in customers homes
- Good attention to detail and a tidy approach to work
- Able to follow instructions and complete jobs efficiently
- Previous labouring, kitchen fitting, construction or property refurbishment experience is preferred but not essential
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Own van
- Willingness to travel up to 1hr from Dawlish
Pay: £120.00-£200.00 per day
