Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Social Housing Multi-trader to undertake maintenance, repair, and refurbishment projects within social housing properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship across a range of trades, ensuring that properties meet safety standards and tenant satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad skill set in a dynamic environment, contributing positively to community living standards. Travelling will be required to multiple locations to help aid our other contracts.
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing tasks including repairs, installations, and maintenance of water systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various construction tasks.
- Execute plastering, masonry, and construction painting to restore or improve property surfaces.
- Engage in carpentry tasks including framing, fitting doors, windows, and other woodwork.
- Fabricate components on-site as needed for customised repairs or modifications.
- Maintain health and safety standards at all times during project execution.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within designated timeframes while adhering to quality standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, or related trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to social housing maintenance.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills for liaising with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Flexibility to adapt to various repair requirements across different properties.
- Experience working within social housing or similar community-focused environments is desirable but not essential.

Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
