Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
- Support clients in adhering to their personalized care plans, respecting their preferences and needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment
- Maintain clear communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and manage schedules efficiently
- Drive company vehicles when necessary to support home care visits or appointments
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a secure environment for clients and staff
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle is highly desirable for supporting home visits
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic records and documentation
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and responsibly
