Responsibilities
- Operate dry cleaning equipment safely and efficiently to clean garments and textiles.
- Inspect items for stains, damages, or special handling instructions, ensuring all are addressed appropriately.
- Handle delicate fabrics with care, adhering to specific cleaning protocols.
- Press, finish, and package cleaned items to meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with their requests and offering professional advice when needed.
- Keep accurate records of items processed, including any special instructions or notes.
- Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a dry cleaning environment is preferred; hotel experience is considered a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills with a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy or bulky items safely.
