Experienced Home Improvements Sales Consultant
Location: Pudsey, Leeds Covering: Within approximately a 2-hour radius of Leeds OTE: £39,000 to £80,000+ per year Self-employed or employed options available for the right candidate
The Conservatory Insulation Company and My Eco Garden Room are expanding and looking for an experienced Home Improvements Sales Consultant to join our growing team.
This is not a role for someone new to sales.
We are looking for a proven, professional salesperson with a strong background in home improvements, construction, extensions, conservatories, windows and doors, garden rooms, roofing, building work or similar sectors.
You will be meeting homeowners who have already expressed an interest in our products and services. Your role is to understand their needs, provide expert advice, create solutions and convert enquiries into signed contracts.

The Role
- Attend pre-qualified appointments generated by the business Conduct professional surveys and consultations with homeowners Design and present suitable solutions Produce quotations and proposals Follow up opportunities and close sales Maintain excellent customer relationships throughout the sales process Work closely with our operations and installation teams Manage your diary effectively across your designated territory
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in home improvement, construction or building-related sales Strong knowledge of building work and residential construction Experience selling high-ticket products and services Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to build trust quickly with homeowners Self-motivated and target-driven Full UK driving licence Professional appearance and attitude
Highly Desirable:
- Experience selling conservatories, windows, doors or roofing systems Experience selling extensions or garden rooms Knowledge of SIP construction Knowledge of planning permission and building regulations Experience using CRM systems

The Right Person
We’re looking for someone who can sit comfortably in a customer’s home discussing a £10,000 conservatory roof replacement one day and a £100,000 extension or garden room project the next.
You must be capable of understanding construction, identifying customer needs, presenting solutions confidently and closing business professionally.
