Role Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Cleaning Operative to join our team in Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring buses are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Your work will directly contribute to providing a pleasant and hygienic environment for passengers and drivers alike.
Hours: Monday -6pm - 9pm, off Tuesday then Wednesday - Sunday 6pm - 9pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general cleaning tasks on buses including:
- Wiping down surfaces
- Hoovering floors and seats
- Mopping floors
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Ensure all cleaning standards and procedures are consistently met
- Report any damages or required maintenance to the supervisor
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet tight schedules
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical role
