We are currently looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team at Ridgway.

- Full Time (Monday to Friday 8:00am - 17:30pm, Rota'd Saturday 8:00am - 12:00PM)
- Rates will be dependent on the successful applicant’s experience.
- Workshop based
Ridgway Rentals is a family-owned and run Plant Hire Company and this position is based at our head office in St Martins, Shropshire – postcode SY11 3PZ
This full time role will involve the maintenance of heavy plant machinery in our workshop.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bucket maintenance (repairs, fitting new cutting edges, replacing teeth)
- Machine repairs (track steps, cab handles etc)
- Aid with the safe operation of the work area
- Comply fully with company health & safety procedures
- Follow work practices and instructions as directed
Qualifying requirements
- Welding & fabrication tickets/qualifications
Our Plant Hire Fleet consists of hydraulic excavators, dozers, dump trucks and other heavy plant machinery by Komatsu, JCB etc.
