The company:
A tier 1 main contractor that specialises in delivering commercial new build and cut & carve major projects nationally (£25 - £100+ million)
The role:
As a Site Engineer for this main contractor you will be covering multiple schemes within the M25 with projects ranging from new build NHS healthcare complexes to cut & carve commercial refurbishment schemes. Your role will involve but not be limited to:
- Working as part of the project's management team
- Setting out gridlines and datum points
- Drawing coordination
- Liaising with Structural Engineers, Design Engineers and Consultants
- Supervision and management of contractors
- Surveys and As-builts
- Using a variety of instruments depending on project/task specific requirements (Total Stations, GPS, Rotating Lasers etc)
- QA & QC
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the role is essential
- Ability and willingness to travel to projects across London
- Own laptop with AutoCAD
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS and First Aid are beneficial but not essential
