Duties
- Provide expert nursing care tailored to patients with complex medical conditions, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
- Conduct thorough assessments of patient health status, including detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed protocols, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and families
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication use, and health maintenance strategies
- Monitor vital signs and clinical indicators regularly, adjusting care as needed to optimize health outcomes
- Document all patient interactions meticulously in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies
- Experience in Tracheostomy care
- Experience in PEG feeding
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with relevant licensing authorities
- Proven experience in caring for patients with complex or chronic health conditions
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to inform clinical decision-making
- Expertise in medication administration, including IV therapy and advanced pharmacology principles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to perform detailed patient assessments and respond swiftly to changing clinical situations
