Role Overview
GoTutors is looking for enthusiastic, professional, responsible and dedicated tutors to join our Leicester teaching team.
Tutors will provide high-quality academic support in English, Maths and Science to students from Year 1 to Year 13, helping them develop their subject knowledge, confidence, study skills and examination performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and well-structured English, Maths and Science lessons.
* Tailor lessons to individual student needs and abilities.
* Support students with academic development and examination preparation.
* Assess understanding and monitor student progress.
* Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
* Provide constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate.
* Maintain a positive, professional and supportive learning environment.
* Follow GoTutors safeguarding and professional procedures.
* Communicate professionally with students, parents and the GoTutors team.
Essential Requirements
* Relevant teaching qualification, degree or subject-specific qualification.
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject you will be teaching or applying to teach.
* Previous teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
* Experience working with children and young people.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Reliable, organised, punctual and professional.
* Passion for education and supporting student progress.
* Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
