Test Automation Engineer
Hybrid, London - City
Full time, 24 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: £ 54,000-£64,000
Your role
As our Test Automation Engineer, you will lead the development of a robust automated testing capability across Dynamics 365, Business Central, NAV, and a wide range of third-party integrations. Your work will ensure the Institute’s core platforms are supported by reliable, repeatable, and scalable automated test frameworks that strengthen quality assurance across digital transformation programmes.
You will design and deliver automation frameworks, build Azure DevOps test pipelines, and create automated tests that accurately validate business rules, data flows, integrations, and end-to-end processes. The role spans API and integration testing, cloud-based test execution, and managing test data and environments to ensure consistency and compliance.
You will promote high engineering standards and shift-left testing practices, embedding automated checks early within development workflows. Alongside this, you will maintain clear documentation, contribute to shared testing assets, and support continuous improvement through modern automation approaches and emerging QA technologies.
