Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Live-in Carer with driving capabilities to provide personalised care and support to clients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring specialised care, including those with dementia, Alzheimer's, or other health conditions. The position involves living on-site and providing attentive, respectful, care tailored to each client’s needs.
Duties
- Provide personalised assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer medication accurately in accordance with prescribed schedules
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and preferences
- Support clients with assisted living needs, including dementia, Alzheimer’s, or hospice care
- Manage behaviour and implement behaviour management strategies to ensure a calm environment
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space
- Drive clients safely to appointments, social outings, or errands as required
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Respond promptly to emergencies by applying first aid skills when necessary
- Assist with light heavy lifting tasks related to mobility or transfers
Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living, senior care, or home care environments
- Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and behavioural management techniques
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record and experience in safe driving practices
- Relevant certifications such as first aid training are highly desirable
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills and patience
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required
- Flexibility to live-in on-site and work according to the needs of the client
- Previous experience in nursing home or caregiving roles is advantageous but not essential

Pay: £700.00-£1,200.00 per week
