Position: Workshop Fitter
Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands
Working Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Travel Required: Up to 10% (day travel)
Salary & Benefits:
· Upwards of £40K per year/ £18.10/hr (depending on experience)

Your Role as a Workshop Mechanic/Technician:
· Perform maintenance, repairs, new builds and refurbishments on volumetric mixers
· Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
· Work on hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding as needed
· Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate records of work performed
· Occasionally visit customer sites for service and repairs (day travel only)
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised workspace
What You Need to Succeed:
· Experience as a Mechanic/Technician working with HGV’s or Plant machinery
· Strong mechanical knowledge, including hydraulics, electrical fault-finding, and welding
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
· Willingness to work occasional out-of-hours shifts when required
